The children carried out an investigation to test what substances made yeast grow. We were amazed at how much carbon dioxide was produced to inflate the balloons.
The children became Engineers for the day and were tasked with designing and building three prototype gliders. The children were able to identify different forces acting on the glider and developed their understanding of how gliders and other aircraft take flight!

As part of their Science topic on Evolution and Inheritance, the children carried out an investigation to test beak adaptations of birds. They used different implements to simulate a variety of beak shape and enjoyed trying to pick up different foods.
